"Mount Ida Farm is located in historic Albemarle County and is only minutes from UVA, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and James Monroe's Ashlawn Highland. Located within a private 4,000 acre estate, Mount Ida Farm offers families an exclusive and private venue for weddings and private events. From its picturesque setting overlooking the Hardware river and Mt Ida lake, Mount Ida manor offers a spectacular setting for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming porches and decks which lead to an impressive stone walkway down to an otherworldly setting with a limestone gazebo overlooking the lake and its spectacular fountain, guests can enjoy the expansive and very private view. Mount Ida farm can accommodate up to 65 overnight guests in a one of several large manor homes located throughout the property. The estate has endless scenic locations for intimate gatherings at one if it's many lakes, manor homes and pavilions.

For those more active guests, we can arrange for equestrian tours of the surrounding area. We can also arrange to board your horses in our stable during your retreat or private event."
